Job Title: Assistant Community Builder - Company: Picerne Military Housing Location: Fort Sill, OK Description: The Assistant Community Builder is responsible for assisting with the management of all vertical construction, including plan reviews, value engineering, preparing scope of work documents, contract review, buyout, and production through management of field staff and interaction with other departments within Picerne Military Housing.  This position is also responsible for assisting with the management of Site construction projects from concept through final acceptance and project close out.  This includes assisting with the management of consultants such as civil engineers, surveyors, electrical engineers, geotechnical engineers and environmental specialists.  The Assistant Community Builder will also assist in the plan approval, permitting and site construction process by coordinating with the on Post Department of Public Works, Subcontractors, Public Utility Companies; and Local, State and Federal Agencies. Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field is required. Occasional travel to other installations or corporate office may be required. Knowledge of construction estimating and estimating software, cost controls, scheduling and accounting software, Microsoft Office applications are required. Knowledge of Primavera and Timberline is preferred. Experience Required: 5+ years experience in construction is required, preferably in the area of residential and multi-family construction. Knowledge of the design and permitting process is required.  Ability to work with Consultants, Public Utility Companies and Government Agencies is a plus. Proven success in field operations management, pre-construction management, and office operations. Experience working in a team environment and customer service focus.
