Additionally laborers must: Possess sufficient knowledge to: - Be able to take directions and act on them accordingly - Be capable of working independently with success and efficiency - Make good decisions - Be willing and able to work weekends and overtime as needed - Be able to safely operate common trade tools and equipment - Demonstrate ability to absorb on-the-job training - Provide standard industry tools and apparel including: hammer, sledge hammer, tape measure, square, knife, pliers, chalk line, tool belt, appropriate gloves, and work boots/rubber boots. - Be able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours. - Be able to navigate construction sites without being a danger to oneself or others - Be able to lift and carry 100 pounds with proper lifting technique multiple times per day. - Maintain company equipment in a clean, presentable, organized and safe condition at all times - Account for and maintain all company supplied tools, equipment, and materials at all times - Have current and valid California State Driver's License and acceptable driving record Required Qualifications and Experience: To be considered for this Laborer position you must be Drug-free and sober!!!!
