As Engineering Equipment Operator, duties will include operation of heavy equipment, such as front-end loader, grader, bulldozer, and backhoe used to push, pull, pile and load earth, sand, gravel, clear brush, grade roads and road shoulders, plow snow, back fill and excavate trenches. Also required to operate a boom crane, street sweeper, dump trucks and trucks with attachments such as lowboy, sander, plow etc. Additionally determines necessary steps to repair sub-surfaces and asphalt; lays out the work, selects proper tools and materials, and repairs roads. Operates a patching truck, asphalt roller, compressor and jackhammer. Applies materials for subsurface repairs, sealing cracks or joints, and hot or cold asphalt to the required thickness. Inspects/performs repairs and maintenance on railroad track, including trestles, bridges, crossings and culverts for loose, worn or missing spikes, nails, ties, switches. Duties will include performing preventive maintenance on trucks/equipment.

He is a certified miner (rock crushing), has experience with pushing and packing demolition. Loading and unloading dump trucks, unloading with a forklift. He is also experienced in maintaing the equipment. He also has some experience with welding. He is a very hard worker and can get any job done that is sent his way.
