We are currently looking for an Equipment Operator to operate a Case 580, 4 lever, Straight Stick for underground electrical components. Must be able to get right on equipment and operate, no on the job training. Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Operating the machines, equipment and attachments to perform the functions required to complete the project. * Driving equipment in successive passes over the work area to achieve specified results, such as grade terrain or remove, dump or spread earth and rock. * Aligning the machine, cutterhead or depth gauge marker with reference stakes and guidelines on the ground or positioning equipment following hand signals or assistants. * Fastening bulldozer baldes or other attachments to the machine using hitches. * Connecting hydraulic hoses, belts, mechanical linkages or power takeoff shafts to the equipment. * Signaling operators to guide movement of the equipment. * Greasing, oiling and performing minor repairs on the equipment on a daily basis or weekly basis or as the manufacturer or MC Dean, Inc. policy requires. * Understanding and complying with regulations such as utility locating/marking requirements and OSHA safety standards. Job Requirements: * Three (3) to Five (5) years experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator. * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Must have a good driving record.
