Job Title: Field Maintenence Tech/HVAC Company: Location: Raleigh, NC Description: Field Technician Travel Details - 75% of the time is traveling. (Overnight stay) Typically leave early Monday morning and return Friday afternoon home by 5:00pm. There are some Saturdays involved ? usually no more than two a month. Overtime of course is included. Transportation to the job site is also provided as is hotel and all meals on the road. The 25% they aren?t traveling is when they are in the Raleigh area which is about one quarter a year. February ? July/August will be local to Raleigh Job Detail - Low income residential energy conservation program where technicians will perform comprehensive residential energy audit and installation or application of energy conservation measures, such as lighting, shower heads, insulation, caulking, etc. Technician will install or apply energy conservation measures and document all work performed including site diagnostics, and installation of measures. Candidate should have excellent technical skills in the installation of pre-approved energy efficiency measures. They should also have the ability to communicate effectively as they are required to educate the resident on energy efficiency and energy usage. Candidate should be proficient in the use of tools required to install energy efficient measures.
