We are looking for a multi tasker who can come in and do any of the three any day of the week. Job Title: Welder-Fitter  Company: Force Protection Location: Ladson, SC Description: In addition to Fitter / Welder position responsibilities: Manufacturing parts and sub-assemblies. Laying out parts and sub-assemblies in accordance with assembly drawings and procedures, other duties as assigned. Requires a U.S. Department of Education accredited high school diploma or equivalent with minimum 2 years of experience in a production welding environment. In lieu of a U.S. Department of Education accredited high school diploma or equivalent, acceptable Work Keys score is required. Good working knowledge of MIG weld machines and the MIG welding process. Must be able to read blue prints, recognize and identify welding symbols, have a working knowledge the metric measuring system, and weld inspection procedures. Be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs with no assistance and capable of climbing a ladder. Requires passing the Company’s physical weld test and a passing grade on the Company’s written welder/fitter test. Will be expected to take work keys test. Individual must work in a safety conscious manner compliant with the company’s safety policies and procedures. Fluxcore weld experience preferred. Must be able to work weekends, overtime, holidays and any shift if required. Position may require travel periodically.
