Job Title: Aluminum TIG Welders Company: Location: Portland, OR Description: Employment Trends is now hiring qualified Aluminum TIG Welders for a fast-paced facility in Hillsboro. Welders will be working with aluminum using a wide variety of gas torch and electric arc welding processes including inert gas shielded methods, welds and a variety of metals and their alloys in all positions. Duties include: ? Set up and operate TIG Welding equipment. ? Perform initial primary and finish weld in vertical, horizontal and flat positions. ? Work from sketches, blue prints or verbal instructions. ? Perform quality control functions. ? Use hand and power tools. ? Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: ? A high school diploma or equivalent. AWS Certification is a plus! ? Recent welding experience with Section D1.2/Aluminum TIG Welding. ? Basic fabrication skills. ? Able to stand long periods of time, bend, lift, twist, bend and use of both hands. ? Able to move up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs on occasion. ? Able to solve practical problems. ? Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide. ? Able to read and interpret documents. ? Physically able to climb stairs, stoop, balance, kneel, crouch, etc. These are full time positions.
