Job Title: Industrial electrician needed for contract wiring of machines Company: Location: North Smithfield, RI Description: A manufacturing plant in northern RI is looking for a licensed insured industrial electrician to contract a project to move equipment in our facility.We will be relocating our Brown & Sharpe screw machines to another area of our plant and need an electrician to hang drops prior to the move and rewire after.Our contracted hourly rate for this will be $40/hr and you must be licensed and insured to be considered. Job Title: East Bay Electric Hiring Journeyman/Master Electricians Company: Location: East Greenwich, RI Description: East Bay Electric is hiring up to 14 Journeyman/Master Electricians as independent sub contractors for a residential complex in East Greenwich Rhode Island. If you are out of work, here is an opportunity to be your own boss, make some money to pay your bills, and work yourself into a permanent fulltime job with East Bay Electric. There are 14 units of varying sizes ranging from 896 square feet to 1008 square feet plus some site work for service distribution and site lighting. Compensation will vary based on the unit size. You will be hired as an independent contractor, be paid a flat fee for the contact plus any change orders, and receive a 1099 at the end of the year for your contract value. This is a labor only contract. No taxes will be withheld from your payment of any type and all taxes will be your sole responsibility. This offer of work is in no way an Employer/Employee relationship, but rather a contractor/subcontractor agreement. You will be paid 70% of the contract fee once a rough inspection has been signed off by the wiring inspector and the balance when the final inspection has been signed off by the wiring inspector. All wiring will be to code minimums and the current Rhode Island Electrical Code. All payments are pay when paid meaning that you get paid 2 days after the owner pays East Bay Electric. Easy Bay Electric will provide the following: 1.) All material delivered to the jobsite 2.) All permits 3.) All communication with the owner 4.) All pricing for change orders, etc? 5.) Onsite personnel for direction and questions. You must provide the following: 1.) Your own transportation 2.) Your own tools 3.) Tour own ladders 4.) You must have a current and valid RI Journeyman?s/Master's license 5.) You must provide liability insurance naming East Bay Electric as an additional insured. If you do not have liability insurance, East Bay will withhold payment for the insurance from the final payment on your contract at the rate East Bay pays their provider 6.) You must provide an invoice for all payments to East Bay Electric in a timely manner 7.) You will be required to sign an AIA subcontractor agreement for each building you are awarded 8.) You must supply a valid social security number 9.) You must have a valid driver?s license 10.) You must be able to work with little or no direct supervision 11.) You must have a working cell phone 12.) You must be familiar with all residential codes and wiring methods 13.)
