Craft Brewers Alliance, Inc., representing Widmer Brothers Brewing Company, Redhook Ale Brewery and Kona Brewing Co. has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Electrician at the Redhook Ale Brewery in Portsmouth, NH. This position is responsible for all aspects of maintaining equipment and systems used in production. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Performs assignments in the layout, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of a wide variety of complex electrical equipment such as automatic controls systems, packaging equipment and conveyor systems. ? Analyze and troubleshoot electrical problems with a wide variety of electrical equipment, replacing defective parts, reassembles effected equipment and tests for proper operation and safety. ? Performs preventive maintenance as scheduled or required on all types of electrical equipment as recommended by the manufacturer and on site safety programs. ? Maintains necessary work records including equipment records, logs, and time sheets. ? Insures that all work meets prescribed standards of quality and insures compliance with all laws, safety procedures, policies and codes ? Detects and reports to the Supervisor any unusual conditions, defective materials, faulty equipment, and equipment operating or installed incorrectly. ? Assists other maintenance personnel on projects as directed. ? Ability to read and comprehend complicated blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications, codes, electrical formulas, and handbooks. ? Ability to use various testing devices related to the electrical and mechanical trades. ? Monitors and keeps properly stock tool cabinet in shop ? Keeps the shop in a clean and organized fashion ? Operates forklift safely ? On call 24/7 for emergency repairs Qualifications: EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School Diploma or GED. CERTIFICATES/LICENSES, ETC.: New Hampshire State certified Journeyman Electrician REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 3+ year?s maintenance or electrical experience in a manufacturing environment. Must possess: experience troubleshooting electrical and PLC based control systems (Allen Bradley & Siemens); experience with packaging equipment, conveyor systems and process systems; experience with PM practices, work order systems. 3+ years experience troubleshooting maintenance in mfg environment; Experience with CMMS preferred. Ability to read blue prints. Ability to use various testing devices related to the electrical and mechanical trades.
