Troubleshoot fiber optic lines and connectors to identify problems, and then take appropriate action to correct the problems in an efficient and timely manner. Update and maintain active database of cable plant configuration and label cables appropriately to ensure accurate identification of cable locations and equipment supported by that cable. Use of supporting software systems to ensure database support is maintained and normal office business can be accomplished via email and proper monitoring and reaction to trouble ticket system in use by HQ INSCOM and monitoring and using the Automated Work Order System (AWOS) in use within HQ INSCOM.
