This includes but is not limited to CISCO fiber optic data communications transport equipment, fiber optic cable plants supporting the various networks and all associated hubs, patch panels and connector types involved in the support of the network structure. Provide installation/de-installation of supporting hardware including Personal Computers, Communications Closet components and all associated infrastructure supporting the networks. Provide Quality Assurance and Quality Checks with customers to ensure consistent and timely service is provided. Correct all deficiencies noted during QA/QC within 30 days after completion of inspection. Troubleshoot fiber optic lines and connectors to identify problems, and then take appropriate action to correct the problems in an efficient and timely manner. Update and maintain active database of cable plant configuration and label cables appropriately to ensure accurate identification of cable locations and equipment supported by that cable. Use of supporting software systems to ensure database support is maintained and normal office business can be accomplished via email and proper monitoring and reaction to trouble ticket system in use by HQ INSCOM and monitoring and using the Automated Work Order System (AWOS) in use within HQ INSCOM.
