Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; use saws to cut expansion joints. May perform other related duties. Requires the following motions: stretching, stooping, bending, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, kneeling, throwing, walking, hammering, standing, reaching, and rubbing. Requires possible lifting of up to 50 lbs. Uses tools such as float, tamp, trowel, screed, template, hand shovel, push broom or 10'-16' straight edge on extended handle. Overtime work is required. May be exposed to extremes of hot and cold weather.
