JOB TITLE: Carpet Installer DEPARTMENT: Installation REPORTS TO: Installation Manager and/or Installation Coordinator POSITION SCOPEAn Empire Carpet Installer is a Sub-Contractor who represents our company as a Carpet Installer. Their job focus is to provide our clients with a quality installation and customer service second to none. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Analyzes jobsites prior to beginning a Carpet installation for us to make sure a quality installation can be done. Works assigned routes in a timely fashion and notifies the Installation Department of any changes to their route. Provides a quality Carpet Installation on all jobs and guarantees workmanship for One Year from the date of installation. Resolves all Customer Service issues in a timely fashion and protects the interest of the company at all times. Creates and exhibits a sense of ownership Creates and supports a safe work environment Customer Satisfaction should be your number one goal. Demonstrates a sense of urgency and decisiveness as appropriate Ability to manage and handle all paperwork to the prescribed standards of Empire Today LLC. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES In-depth knowledge of assigned product. Working knowledge of permit and licensing requirements for market you will be assigned to. Specific knowledge of local competitors and the industry Experience in managing your own business and associates Must have a dependable vehicle and all necessary tools to perform proper Carpet installation Must have General Liability and Workman's Compensation Insurance Must be able to work prescribed branch hours. Must have excellent communication skills and must have one member of your team who speaks good clear and concise English to communicate with our customers.
