Job Title: Lead Carpenter/ Framer - Company: Location: Boston, MA Description: Small Construction company seeking an experienced lead carpenter/framer to run jobs. This is a hands-on working job, while supervising, not the other way around. Responsibilities include overseeing and performing onsite carpentry tasks, coordinating subcontractor schedules and maintaining project schedule timelines, onsite task management, ensuring proper quality control, and thorough communication with the owner. Candidate MUST have very strong communication skills along with a proven record for attention to detail. Must have a solid track record to lead and manage a team. A solid background in managing ground up residential construction processes (framing to finish) is required. Thorough knowledge of all trades including roofing, siding, trim, windows, etc. is a must. Commercial experience a plus. College education is helpful but company will consider experience in lieu. Must live in close close proximity to Framingham. Reliable work truck, clean license required.
