Job Title: Seeking Licensed Lead Fire Alarm Technician!!!

Requirements for Consideration ? Maintain a Texas driver?s license. ? Insurable (No high risk) as determined by company insurance carrier. ? Texas Commission of Private Security License AND /OR: ? Texas Fire Alarm License ? Minimum of 1 Manufacturers System Certification ? Competent working knowledge of National Electric Code ? Basic knowledge of fire alarm, access control, and security alarms ? Ability to program basic functions of 1 system (security or fire) ? Ability to install basic components of fire and access control/security systems ? Ability to pull, terminate and test all standard industry cable types ? Moderate understanding of system schematics ? Moderate understanding of concept of blueprints ? Wear assigned company uniform. ? Follow established company quality control procedures. ? Report to assigned work sites on or before required start times. ? Good organization and communications skills Specific Duties & Responsibilities ? Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds frequently, 21 ? 50 pounds occasionally, and more than 50 pounds with assistance. ? Must be able to ascend and descend a frame ladders up to eight (8) feet and extension ladders up to fourteen (14) feet, higher ladders with assistance. ? Must be able to work in high places, cramped quarters and under buildings, and in inclement weather. ? Must be able to distinguish primary colors. ? Must be able to work in inclement weather and under demanding physical conditions. ? Must be able to work in potentially hazardous environments and with potentially hazardous materials in a safe manner. ? Must be able to work in an environment where airborne particles will not affect one?s health or hinder work performance. ? Each employee may be scheduled to work different shifts and be on call periodically outside a normal shift. ? Must be able to operate a motor vehicle using a manual and/or automatic transmission and respond to after hours emergencies. This position has various shifts and hours including working On Call.
