You will have the opportunity to work on various installation projects located throughout the state. You will be working with the internet and networks that control fire and security systems, lighting, and video surveillance cameras. You can help us merge software with systems by bringing your Fire Alarm and Security System background to us! The Installation technician works on location with contractors and building owners during the installation of HVAC, fire, and security systems. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, engineers and owners while insuring that the project specifications and schedules are met. As the Field Installation Specialist, you will: Be responsible for the management of installation projects for Fire Alarm, Security, Card Access, CCTV and PA systems on a variety of government and private sector commercial building installations. Supervise the installation of these systems by others. Material management, system programming, commissioning, test reports, redline drawing and project documentation. Handle project from engineering turnover to completion. Work with sales to determine project requirements and development of project scope. Work with end-users to provide system training. Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 5 years experience in commercial Fire Alarm Systems installation. NICET II Certification 3 years experience in reading blue prints and schematics Valid driver's License High School Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications: State of Alaska Fire Alarm Permit LV IB Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications LAN/WAN Networking understanding Microsoft Server certification.
