As the Master Electrician with CI, you train and oversee all 25 installation teams in their efforts to provide total kitchen and bath renovation services on our jobs and will work along side other team members and engage clients and customers about their most pressing issue: getting their KITCHEN or BATH remodeling job FINISHED on time and on budget.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: To perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled work in the maintenance, repair and alteration of HVAC systems; and to perform semi-skilled and skilled general maintenance work as assigned.

EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Install adjust repair and inspect a variety of electrical, electronic and pneumatic climate controls and valves involved in heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment including forces air furnaces, boilers, water pumps, chillers, air conditioning units, exhaust fans, air filters, compressors, cooling towers and heat exchangers.

• Maintain and repair HVAC equipment by performing a variety of skilled electrical, heating, air conditioning and mechanical repair work.

• Inspect HVAC systems to identify maintenance needs.

• Repair or replace relays, heavy duty fuses, interlocking and magnetic control circuits, alarm systems, photo and electric eyes and time clocks; measure, cut thread and install electric conduits.

• Operate, maintain and repair a variety of mechanical tools and equipment such as power saws, sanders, drills, welders, plumbing snakes, rodders, grinders, electric generators, and gas, diesel and natural gas engines.

• Monitor and test chemical conditions in open and closed water loops; control improper levels by adjusting controllers and adding treatment chemicals.

• Program and operate direct digital controllers including designing control, scheduling and energy management strategies.

• Draw, read and interpret sketches, diagrams, drawings and blueprints.

• Monitor and maintain preventive maintenance records and logs.

• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience - Five years of increasingly responsible experience in HVAC repair and maintenance at the journeyman level.

• Training - Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by completion of a building trade apprenticeship program in electrical, maintenance, refrigeration, heating, cooling or a related field.

• License or Certificates - Possession of, or the ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver’s license is required. Universal Refrigerant Certificate is required.

To provide and coordinate all inventory purchasing and delivery activities for Property Management and Construction. Coordinate the acquisition, disposition, and control of equipment and/or materials according to established policies and procedures.

High School graduate required. Environmental Compliance Certification and OSHA Training Certification preferred. Knowledge in the handling and disposal of hazardous materials and waste products. Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the capacity to function professionally within Excel and Outlook. Competency in YARDI property management software preferred. Must be adaptable, analytical, independent, responsive and a self-starter. Driver"s license is required.

3 years of inventory management experience is required, including 2 years supervisory experience

You should have experience with plumbing code and technologies including: Ion exchange; reverse osmosis; UV light; variable speed pump; BCF (bead and crevice free) piping; zero thread, zero dead leg; and sanitary distribution as well as components for leak detection and containment. Experience running distribution lines to various points of use is also sought
